It look good at first, but the app is not functioning properly, how it use to

TWC, as usual, manages to screw up. The latest version kills AirPlay, thus rendering the app almost worthless for me.

No matter what I try to watch or when, it stops working with the error "unable to start playback." My iPad is up to date with software releases, as is the app, but it continues to happen. I only get a few minutes into a show or movie before it happens. Just like everything else time warner gives you, this is lacking consistency in performance.

This used to be my favorite app but now it is non-functionable! Did anyone try this out at TW before you released it?? I can no longer get shows that I was able to get prior to the update. In fact, some I was watching before update, when I press resume, it just freezes and it is blank. Lost a lot of the series I watched on Encore-Starz. One series says 30 on demand episodes but not ONE of them works! Now, can not watch any of the demand Outlander. It is confusing,"watch later", when it does not allow you to do that! No more watch on TV, just a total mess. Please erase this app update and go back to before!!!

What did you guys do to this app? Used to be so easy to search for what I wanted to watch on tv with this app and have it pop up on my screen. I even wrote a supportive review about my satisfaction with it earlier. Now its clunky and awkward and keeps wanting to show me stuff on my phone, which I dont want. You can barely find the "watch on tv" button any more. Searches to the schedule dont give me viewing options any more; they just start playing against my will. Hopefully you fix this and return to the seamless integration I came to enjoy between my phone and cable with this app. Bring me back to 5-star enjoyment. Youve definitely lost a couple stars with this last update.

AirPlay only streams audio now, not sure if intended but if so Ill be cancel TV subscription. Dont watch much tv and kept the package to watch the occasional baseball game.

You now have to go to a second screen and choose which program in the series to then use the watch on tv function. What a tremendous inconvenience!! I guess Ill go back to using the nearly as confusing remote! It stutters to work too! A big step backward!!

I hope it is just a bug but this version eliminates the ability to use airplay with Apple TV you can only hear some audio, no picture. There is no news from Time Warner and it is very frustrating. This may be the time to look for other options other than Time Warner

As basic as the old app was it was so much better and user friendly than the new version! What were you thinking? Too busy, different commands all over the place. I miss the simple "play now" or "play on tv" option.

Dear TW, Please stop being a greedy corporation and give back the ability to Air Play video through the app. We know it is not a technical issue. It is unfair to expect consumers to rent an entire cable box for TVSs that see minimal daily use. Be nice.

Of customers leaving TWC. It seems TWC no longer has a clue as to what their customers want. Forcing upgrades while disabling streaming features and certain channels is not good service nor is it worth the money I pay every month. Ill take my business elsewhere and will be spreading the word about this "upgrade" to other TWC customers I know... I never write reviews but this one... I felt the need too. Smh!

The change to Guide search which lists shows in season/episode order instead of date order was a terrible idea! I now have to look at each episode to see if its scheduled for today or within the next few days! I dont want to search for a particular episode, I want to see whats available in the near future. I cant believe you thought this change was a good idea! I wish I could go back to the previous version of the app!

The interface, the navigation, the stability...its passable at best. If I had an option, I wouldnt be using their cable or this app. It usually does a good job recording shows though.
